Visiting Assistant Professor in the Non-Tenure-Track who can contribute to the mission of the Department of Health and Physical Activity. The mission of the department is to teach and study the role of physical activity in promoting health and preventing disease across the lifespan.

The candidate will be expected to:

Teach courses in the undergraduate and graduate program within the Department of Health and Physical Activity.
Participate in student advisement of undergraduate and graduate students.
Perform relevant University and professional service.
Especially important is the capacity to work in partnership with diverse populations.

Full-Time.

Visiting Assistant Professor appointment will start August 15, 2009 and continue through June 30, 2010, with the potential for renewal.

Competitive salary will commensurate with qualifications at a rank
