Position AvailableEndocrinologistMayo Clinic Rochester, MN(posted 9/4/2009) The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism, and Nutrition at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, is seeking a board-certified/board eligible endocrinologist with strong clinical and academic background in obesity and nutrition for a full-time faculty position starting in 2009. The Division of Endocrinology has a large multidisciplinary obesity practice, which includes the medical and surgical treatment of obesity, and nutrition consulting services in the hospitals. The candidate should have an academic interest in obesity management as demonstrated by either clinical research background or educational experience. The position involves 80% of time devoted to clinical services, with the remainder of effort spent participating in clinical trials or teaching residents, fellows, or medical school students.
